- This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 2173958 and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53. Delivery and acceptance will be at Bethesda, Maryland. This is not a small business set-aside. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) ha2 a requirement for a DMI 6000 Automated Inverted Microscope and Components. The system has the following requirements: 1) Super-Resolution System SR GSD and TIRF, 2) DMI6000 B TIRF, 3) Fluor Turret, motorized 6 position fast fluorescence disc, 4) Tube lens 1.6x for motorized Magnification Changer, 5) Binocular Ergonomic Tube, 6) Motorized side port module (left and right), 7) Sideport Prism, 8) Filter system 488 HP-T for GSD, 9) Filter system 642 HP-T for GSD, 10) Condenser head 0.55 S28, 11) Condenser S1/S28, 12) Manual and coded TL-Column, 13) Lamphousing 107/2, 12V 100W, 14) Halogen Lamp 12V 100W, 15) External light source, 16) High-Speed shutter cable EL6000, 17) Liquid Light Guide for EL6000, 18) Eyepiece HC Plan s 10x/22, 19) Graticule with crossline, 26mn, 20) Optic Carrier, 21) Type F Immersion Liquid, 22) SR GSD System Core, 23) Laser rack GSD 19” with fiber +405 laser, 24) Front Cover plate GSD laserbox, 25) MPBC Visable Laser 488 mm, GSD Laserbox, 26) MPBC Visible Laser 561 nm for GSD Laserbox, 27) MPBC Visible Laser 642 nm, GSD Laserbox, 28) Keyboard, 29) WS GSD HP Z800, 30) Eizo 30” High Brillance Monitor, 31) HD VelociRaptor 300GB, 32) Andor iXon DU-897 EM CCD, and 32) C-mount adapter 1x HC The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, is applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items is applicable. Specific evaluation criteria: (1) Ability to meet technical specification, and (2) Ability to deliver on time and within specification. Offers will also be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
