Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): DEMARIA BUILDING COMPANY INC. FY 10 VA HVAC AT SAGINAW MICHIGAN A. SCOPE OF WORK DT047-1 4th Floor Revisions Item 1. 2.1 This item is in response to RFI-0073. 2.2 The purpose of this change is to incorporate Government directed changes into the contract by a multiple part modification, with this change being part 1. 2.3 Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.243-4, CHANGES, the Contractor is directed to proceed with the following: 2.3.1 The contractor is to remove and relocate the existing piping to allow for the new duct in 1-4125 and 1-4123 to be installed North. 2.3.2 The contractor is to remove and relocate existing light fixtures. 2.3.3 The contractor is to modify the access panel, as required and as long as the modified panel matches the fire rating of the wall. 2.3.4 All junction boxes that will be blocked are to be relocated. 2.4 The Contractor shall not exceed $3,000 (Three Thousand Dollars) in costs without written direction of the Contracting Officer. 2.5 The Contractor shall submit a final proposal of the costs associated with this change within ten (10) business day from the issuance of this change. 2.6 There are no further changes to the contract. Item 2. 3.1 The purpose of this change is to incorporate Government directed changes into the contract by a multiple part modification, with this change being part 1. 3.2 Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.243-4, CHANGES, the Contractor is directed to proceed with installing exhaust ductwork, registers, etc. as shown on drawing 1-M114.1 Revised. The contractor is to make all required sheave and belt changes to the existing exhaust fan required to meet the new exhaust volumes. The contractor is to balance the air flows to match the volumes shown on the drawing and provide a certified testing and balance report as required in the project specifications. 3.3 The Contractor shall not exceed $15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Dollars) in costs without written direction of the Contracting Officer. 3.4 The Contractor shall submit a final proposal of the costs associated with this change within ten (10) business day from the issuance of this change. 3.5 There are no further changes to the contract.
