- This is a better description of the requirement THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around 18 August 2011. Solicitation number FA4600-11-B-0023 is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). This project is for repair of comm building 456. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, and the small business size standard is $33.5M; this will be set-aside for service disabled veteran owned. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price construction contract with a period of performance (POP) of 30 calender days to provide the following project: repair of comm building 456. Please reference solicitation #FA4600-11-B-0023 on all correspondence. Project magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. All contractors shall be ORCA registered http://orca.bpn.gov. Contractors; in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before a contract can be awarded to your company. NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements of the solicitation in the quotes.
