- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) Visibility Sensors Assembly, Model 8365-C (Quantity “ 2 each). This requirement is sole sourced to All Weather, Inc., 1165 National Drive, Sacramento, CA 95834 due to unique capability. All Weather, Inc. is the only known source for this type of equipment with a unique dual technology sensor design consisting of two emitters and two detectors, which simultaneously provide two back scatter measurements and two forward scatter measurements that result in the most accurate visibility sensor today. The dual technology design also results in measurements that are independent of environmental effects, thus drastically reducing calibration and maintenance requirements. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
