- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego, Contracting Department intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price on an other than full and open competition basis to Electrical Geodesics Inc, 1600 Millrace Drive Suite 307, OR 97403-1995. Commercial procedures will be used. This requirement is a sole source requirement under the authority of FAR parts 13.106-1(b) for a 128 Channel Geodesic EEG System 300, software, and accessories. The Geodesic EEG package from EGI is the only company that provides the comparability of EEG systems and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) systems. The applicable NAICS code is 334510, business size: 500. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability within the established time frame is invited to submit a quote to the contract specialist by 3:00 pm PST 11 August 2011. Responses received will be evaluated however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract will be based upon the responses and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
