- Description
- The Military Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the upcoming Mid-Term Availability (MTA) for the USNS GRAPPLE (T-ARS 53). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence on/about 06 January 2012 for a period of twenty-eight (28) days. This requirement will be solicited on a full and open basis. Major work items will include: Fire Pump Overhaul, Motor Controller Troubleshoot and Repairs, Deck Habitability Repairs, and Generators and Main Engine Diesel Repairs and Overhaul. Successful offeror must possess a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) or have submitted an application for approval prior to contract award. Offeror areas are the East and Gulf Coast of the United States. The estimated issued date for this solicitation is on/about 18 August 2011 with an estimated closing date of 18 September 2011.
