- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0496 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-52, Defense Circular Number 20110725 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2011-0714. This procurement is being issued as full and open competition under NAICS code 335312. All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following Replace and Install Fire Engine and Pump with associated componets: 0001 - Replace NT-855 F4 (engine burnt up) with CF9E-F40 Tier 3 Fire Pump Engine Package 0002 -- New Fairbanks Pump 0003 -- Labor 0004 -- Misc Please include shipping and handling into your quote if necessary. Shipping will be FOB Destination to F1P35A-355 CES, 3791 S. Third St. DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB, AZ 85707; The provision at 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, applies to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance.
