- Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 238330 and the small business size standard is $14M. Work consists of the repair of flooring in PMEL building 5821 located on Barksdale AFB, LA. The contractor shall remove existing and mastic and base molding and prep floor and wall surfaces to receive new finish, and furnish and install new flooring finish. A site visit for this project will be held for this project, time and location to be determined. Offerors interested in attending the site visit are asked to contact the 2d Contracting Squadron (2 CONS) at (318) 456-6943 or (318) 456-6833 to provide list of attendee's. The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, in accordance with the project statement of work. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 9 August 2011. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 8 September 2011. The Performance Period for this project is forty-five (45) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 30 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in accordance with FAR Part 19.14. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 180 calendar days after the Request for Proposal closing, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
