- Solicitation H92239-11-T-0060 The US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) has a requirement for: 500 each Summit Data Express Cards Model SDC-EC25N. This RFQ is brand name only IAW FAR 6.302-1 based on the integration and certification issues to ensure continued operational capability. Summit Data Cards is the only wireless card that is compatible with the FIPS Juniper OAC on Windows XP with a FIPS Driver. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: Summit Data Cards is the only wireless card that is compatible with the FIPS Juniper OAC on Windows XP with a FIPS Driver. WIFI wireless cards must be compliant with the Information Assurance accreditation standards that require FIPS 140-2 encryption module and interface with the Juniper OAC and other applications with security controls required by the accreditation. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The solicitation number is H92239-11-T-0060 and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). USASOC intends to award on a competitive basis, using simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Information regarding this registration can be found at ttp://www.ccr.gov/. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided. The RFQ is attached under separate heading, NOTICE TO OFFERORS- QUOTES ARE DUE: Quotes shall be received at HQ, USASOC ATTN: AOCO (Lynn Conaster), Building E-2929, Desert Storm Drive, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 28310, not later than 11:00 AM EST on 17 Aug 2011. E-mail submissions to lynn.conaster@soc.mil are preferred however; fax submissions will be accepted at (910) 432-9345. Quotes shall include: (1) Form 1449 or letter signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization, (2) CLIN 0001 to include unit price and total price (3) acknowledgement of any amendments that may be issued. Offerors not submitting sufficient information for evaluation may be eliminated from competition. Questions concerning this acquisition shall be submitted in writing and emailed to the contract specialist not later than 11:00 AM EST on 10 Aug 2011. Telephonic questions pertaining to the technical requirement of this solicitation will not be answered. All answers will be provided via an amendment to the solicitation. Any amendments that may be issued will be published on FedBizOpps, the same as this combined synopsis/solicitation.
