- A Pre-proposal Conference and Site Visit is tentatively scheduled for 16-17 August 2011 with location and time TBD. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of discussing the requirements of this solicitation. The pre-proposal conference will consist of briefings from the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representative, and Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) representatives. The solicitation is posted and it is recommended to download the solicitations and applicable WAMC regulations; policies, and procedures prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Please submit questions in writing not later than 11 Aug 2011 to Katherine.i.perry@us.army.mil. Interested participants must register with Katherine Perry by email not later than 4:00 pm, CST, 10 Aug 2011 and provide the following information for representatives attending: Name, company name, email address, phone number, and event (site visit, pre-proposal conference, or both). Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend both the pre-proposal conference and the site visit. The site visit involves extensive walking through multiple buildings, and participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes to be safe and comfortable. Please indicate any special needs to Katherine Perry when requesting registration to ensure proper accommodations may be arranged. Further information concerning locations or pre-proposal conference and specific information for registered participants will posted not later than 8 Aug 2011.
