- Description
- The intent of this contract is to improve and provide adequate drainage of Pyramid Creek Sno-Park on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This project consists of re-establishing approximately 550' of ditch line, placing rip rap in the ditch, placing barrier rocks along top of the ditch line, removal of two parallel culverts on FSR 7060. Installation of 75' of 57" x 38" arch pipe on FSR 7060, installation of 95' of 57" x 38" arch pipe of FSR 70 including an asphalt patch, construct rock weirs in the tributary channel and outlet of the 95' pipe, removal and relocation of a two post sign, and placing and compacting approximately 55 cubic yards of surfacing that has washed out of the parking lot. This project is located at the Snoqualmie Ranger District on the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Section 19, Township 19 North, Range 11 East, King County, Washington. District maps showing the general road systems are available for viewing at the district offices in North Bend, Washington and Enumclaw, Washington. It may be reached by traveling approximately 21 miles east on Highway 410 from the Snoqualmie Ranger Station office in Enumclaw, Washington to FSR 70. Travel on FSR 70 for approximately 5.5 miles to the borrow pit location on the right. Approximately 4.5 miles along FSR 70 past the borrow pit is Pyramid Creek Sno-Park on the left. The waste site for material is within approximately 0.25 mile of the project location on FSR 7060. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 17, 2011. The estimated start work date is on or about September 19, 2011 and shall be completed by November 30, 2011. The Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment Bond equal to 100% of contract amount will be required upon Contract Award.
