- Performance Work Statement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A sources sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify small business concerns, for a Firm-Fixed Contract for Preventative Maintenance on the following pieces of equipment; Shredders (HSM FA 500.2) Qty: 2 and Balers (KP 88.1) Qty: 2. This requirement is to be performed on Fort Sam Houston, TX. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a small business set-aside is in the Government's best interest. The Government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for services. The NAICS Code is 811310. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be for one year (base) plus four options years. A response to this sources sought synopsis will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. 502nd CONS is seeking eligible SMALL business firms capable of providing Preventative Maintenance for the following pieces of equipment; Shredders (HSM FA 500.2) Qty: 2 and Balers (KP 88.1) Qty: 2. This requirement will be performed on Fort Sam Houston, TX. Please see the attached draft Performance Work Statement for a detailed description of the requested services. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: 1) Written narrative of Contractor's capability to provide Preventative Maintenance for Shredders (HSM FA 500.2) Qty: 2 and Balers (KP 88.1) Qty: 2 ; 2) Company size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 811310) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 4) The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concern, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran owned small business; and 5) Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers. SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, 2011. PACKAGES CAN BE SENT ELECTRONICALLY TO CYNARIAH.N.WILKINS.CIV@MAIL.MIL LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government WILL NOT provide a debrief on the results of the survey. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.
