- Description
- A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued for reconstruction of two forest roads located on the Mark Twain National Forest, Eleven Point Ranger District. Forest Road (FR) 4785, Fourche Lake, is located in Ripley County, Missouri and FR 4153, Devil's Elbow, is located in Oregon County, Missouri. This is a construction project and the work includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, roadway excavation and compaction, aggregate supply and placement and culvert installation. This RFQ will consist of two separate items. The estimated price range for the total project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A bid guarantee is NOT required; however, the successful contractor(s) WILL BE required to furnish payment protection in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract amount if award exceeds $30,000. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 237310; the small business size standard is $33.5 million. In order to be eligible for award, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. CCR registration may be completed on the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. This solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about August 18, 2011. No hard copies will be mailed. Interested offerors should follow the instructions in the RFQ for submitting offers.
