- 1.0 ABSTRACT: 1.1 This work item describes the requirements for providing material for new Sea Suction Waster pieces. 2.0 REFERENCES/ENCLOSURES: 2.1 References: 2.1.1 NASSCO Drawing No. 73-87-441, Waster Piece Details (Copy Required) 3.0 ITEM LOCATION/DESCRIPTION: 3.1 Location/Quantity: 3.1.1 Location: None 3.1.2 Quantity: N/A 3.2 Bill of Materials: (CFM, Contractor Furnished Material): 3.2.1 Two (2) each 30" NPS, ANSI B16.1 Large Diameter Class 125 Slip on flange, FF, OD 38.75", Thickness 2.125", Bore 30.19"-30.25", Bolt Circle 36.0", Bolts 28-1.375" Diameter, rating 275 PSI, Forged Carbon steel ASTM A105. 3.2.2 Two (2) each 30" NPS, ANSI B16.1 Large Diameter Class 125 Slip on Flange, RF, OD 38.75", thickness 2.125", Bore 30.19"-30.25", Bolt circle 36.0", Bolts 28-1.375" Diameter, rating 275 PSI, Forged Carbon steel ASTM a105 3.2.3 Twenty (20) linear feet of NPS 30" OD x 1" wall x 15" API 5L-X56 Welded quantity required is for sixteen each 15 inch sections. 4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICES: None 5.0 NOTES: None Additional. 6.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: None Additional. 7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED: 7.1 Cut pipe procured in paragraph 3.2.3 into sixteen each 15 inch lengths. 7.2 Ship all finished material to MSC Warehouse: 7.3 MSC/BATS warehouse facility San Diego Ca. 92123. 7.3.1 The flanges and two 15" sections of the piping shall be palletized separately and marked "Chief Engineer - USNS Wally Schirra T-AKE 8". 7.3.2 The remaining 14 sections of piping shall be shipped separately and marked "T-AKE 30" Inch Waster Piece Piping". 8.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 8.1 The Contractor shall provide all labor and material and shipping to accomplish this specification work item. 8.2 Inspection and acceptance of work shall be by the MSFSC Rep.
