- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source Delivery Order Modification under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-09-G-0004, Delivery Order 0004 with Northrop Grumman of Woodland Hills, California. The Government is entering into the initial test phase of the CH-53K helicopter development program. This aircraft uses the Northrop Grumman LN-251 Embedded Global Positioning System and Inertial Navigation (EGI). This Modification is to provide integration and lab test support for the eighteen (18) LN-251 EGIs that have been procured for the CH-53K under the Electronic Systems Center (ESC) FA-8730-06-D-0009 CLIN 0023. The authority providing other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfy agency requirements. The estimated period of performance is 3 months beginning after contract award.
