Lutz VAMC, Saginaw, MI had an urgent and compelling requirement for the replacement of two in house air compressors that have continued to fail. Facilities Management solicited for this replacement by phone and email with six (6) vendors replying. Based on the quotes received this requirement has been awarded to Hurst Industries, 5800 Safety Dive NE, Belmont, MI. The NAICS code used for this award is 238220 size standard of $14.0 million.
