- Description
- This is a service contract for area mowing at Lake O' the Pines, Jefferson, TX. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment & supplies necessary to effectively perform area mowing and trim grass, weeds, trees and brush sprouts in the public use areas, and along access roads at the locations and as indicated by appropriate limits on the attached park maps in Section J. Unless indicated otherwise on the attached park maps, mowing along access roads shall be performed over a distance of fifty (50) feet on each side of centerline; fifty (50) feet beyond limits of parking areas; fifty (50) feet beyond paved edge of boat ramps and boat ramp turnarounds or to the tree line if it falls within the required fifty (50) foot distance. The required fifty (50) foot distance includes ditches, back slopes, and bluff areas which can be cut with power or hand tools as specified by the COR at Lake O' the Pines. The Contractor's work and responsibility will include all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, quality control, and management necessary to accomplish the required specified services. Period of performance for this contract will be 365 days from date of award and 365 days for each awarded option period. This contract will have one base period with 4 option periods. The evaluation criterion for this solicitation is past performance and price, with past performance out weighing price.
