- This amendment is being issued to add Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. (CAGE: 12511) as an approved source for this requirement and also add the First Article requirement into the Synopsis. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Roberta Bodine, Contracting Officer, email: roberta.bodine@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX1F0564AX; NOUN: Actuator, Electro-ME; NSN: 1680-01-571-7578; P/N: 70400-06641-201, Minimum quantity: 100 each and maximum quantity: 3300 each on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract applicable to UH-60 with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with First Article is 100 each 175 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 800 each year until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 163 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 100 each and up to 800 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (78286) and Simmonds Precision Products, Inc. (12511) because the Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both needed to purchase this part from additional sources. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
