- Laundry Transport Services This procurement will be issued 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through commercial acquisition procedures conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program. Only offers from SDVOSB concerns will be considered for award. Offerors may be required to provide information to demonstrate that at least 50 percent of the cost of personnel for contract performance will be spent for employees of the SDVOSB concern or of other SDVOSB concerns. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is issuing a solicitation for Laundry Transport Services for their Biloxi, MS Campus and for the Joint Ambulatory Care Center (JACC) Pensacola, FL for the period of 1 October 2011 through September 30, 2012, with two (2) each 12-month option periods. Laundry will be transported to the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, TX for cleaning. Services required are for Laundry Transport only. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 484121, with a size standard of $25.5M. The solicitation will be issued on or around August 15, 2011. Potential offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation VA-256-11-RP-0731 documents on-line at the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fedbizops.gov.
