- The Government intends to issue a solicitation in a full and open competitive procurement for a one cylinder recoil Mechanism on the new lightweight 60mm mortar bipod. The solicitation will follow the procedures described in FAR 6.101 resulting in a onetime firm-fixed-price contract and will be a small business set aside. The solicitation including the TDP will be posted within 15 days of the posted date of this synopsis. The dimensions are approximately 300mm long with a Maximum diameter of 38mm; two per assembly.
