- Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Subject to final approval, The Bureau of the Public Debt, Administrative Resource Center, Division of Procurement, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Parking Management, Inc (PMI)., 1725 DeSales St. NW, Suite 202, Washington DC 20036. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. Nature and Description of Action: The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) has a need for a contractor to provide 24 hour parking spacess for eight vehicles. Parking spaces must be located within close proximity of the TIGTA headquarters office for quick and easy access for emergency response and investigative activities. A sole source is intended for this order; no other source is known or has been located to provide this service. The Bureau of the Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than August 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM ET. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show how it would be advantageous to the Government to switch providers for this requirement. A request for more information will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we intend to negotiate a sole-source award to the PMI. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list.
