- NOTICE OF INTENT This is a Notice of Intent from the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and intends to award a sole source order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, fixed price contract with LA Cattlemen's Association located at 4921 Frontage Road, Port Allen, LA 70767, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 6.302-1(a) (B) (iii) (A), Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Central National Technical Support Center of the Natural Resources Conservation Service has the responsibility of acquiring the Bi-Monthly Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative Newsletters from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012. Louisiana Cattlemen's Association (LCA) will produce, publish, and distribute up to 11,000 Bi-Monthly Newletters. The GLCI is a collaborative process of individuals and organizations working nationwide to maintain and improve the management, productivity, and health of the Nation's provately-owned grazing lands. GLCI was developed to provide for a coordinated effort to identify priority issues, find solutions, and effect change on private grazing lands. It is the determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order and is at the sole discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This is a notice and a solicitation will not be issued. NRCS will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. This notice is not a request for proposals. No solicitation document is available.
