- This is modification 1 to the synopsis entitled INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION RETURNVEHICLE PRESSURE VESSEL which was posted on July 19, 2011. The purpose of this modification is to answer the following questions below:Question 1: Can you describe the specific usage of these pressure vessels in the ISS?Answer 1: They are for cold-gas propellant storage for payload return propulsivecapability.Question 2: I see that the solicitation calls for (5) pressure vessels. Can you tell mepotential quantity that may be required beyond that in this solicitation?Answer 2: A future need of additional units has not been determined at this time. Question 3: Can you tell me what Code or branch (Engineering/EA, ISS Program Office/OA,etc) this procurement is for? Answer 3: EA/EngineeringThe due date for responses not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
