- Description
- This project is the demolition and replacement of a recreation cabin, various boardwalk structures, a float and a ramp, and a toilet. The Base Bid work is the removal and replacement of the decks surrounding the cabin, and pumping of a toilet vault. Option Items are for removal and replacement of the gangway and float plane float, demolition of various boardwalk structures and a vault toilet, construction of new boardwalks, decks and a new toilet and removal and replacement of a recreation cabin. Sitka is located on Baranof Island, and is accessible by scheduled airline service, boat, and barge. Sitka and Angoon are on the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. It is anticipated the contractor will begin the design phase in late summer or early fall of 2011, and project completion by June, 30, 2012. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about August 3, 2011 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-11-0127. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.<> <> AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project.
