- Description
- Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to The Shane Gelling Company, 98 Prospect Ave., Sea Cliff, NY 11579, a small business, to supply 36,000 each Transcore eGo Radio Frequency Identification Vehicle Tags, part number 15-05-10-105 with embedded security coding. The Transcore eGo (RFID) tags will be used in conjunction with and shall be compatible with the established Transcore eGo reader, model number 2110. Currently, Shane Gelling is the sole source proprietor of the embedded security coding required for the RFID tags. This acquisition is conducted under Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Test Program for Commercial items as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), using NAICS code 326199 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. All reasonable sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 7days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
