- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for Solicitation No. W9127N-11-Q-0058 for the purchase of Seven (7) newly fabricated Temporary Spillway Weir (TSW) Stoplogs to match the existing stoplogs at the John Day Dam, Sherman County, Oregon. This procurement is projected to be a 100% total small business set-aside. Final determination will be made at the posting of the solicitation. The stoplogs are critical for working on the spillway tainter gates and have critical life safety issues. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the fabrication of seven (7) new TSW stoplogs to match the existing stoplogs at the John Day Dam. The contractor shall fabricate the stoplogs according to drawings and specifications that will be provided when the solicitation is posted. Quotes will only be accepted by current offerors certified per the AISC Quality Certification Program, Category III, Major Steel Bridges with Fracture Critical Rating. All wielding shall be done by an AISC certified weld shop with qualified welders. This procurement will be available for download on or around 15 August 2011.
