- VA-251-11-RP-0058: Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11 Network Contracting Activity, intends to solicit offers from small businesses who are interested in providing eyeglass frames dispensary services for the VA's Veterans Integrated Service Network 11 (VISN 11) Medical Centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinic's. This is a "Small Business Set-Aside", NAICS code: 446130, Size standard $19.0 million. The Veterans Integrated Service Network 11(VISN 11) Optical Fabrication Laboratory fabricates eyeglasses for the Richard L. Roudebush VAMC, (Indianapolis, IN), Illiana Health Care System, (Danville, IL), Northern Indiana Health Care System (Marion, Fort Wayne), Ann Arbor Healthcare System, (Ann Arbor, MI), Detroit VA Medical Centers, (Detroit, MI) the Toledo Outpatient Clinic, (Toledo, OH) Peoria and Decatur Community Based Outpatient Clinic (IL). It is necessary to have in place on-site dispensing services to assist the Veterans of VISN 11. The contractor shall be required to establish on-site dispensaries at these locations. It is planned that VA will award a single or multiple-award IDIQ contracts from this solicitation. The solicitation for competition will be made available on or after August 26, 2011.
