- Description
- US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center is seeking commercial testing services for the Anti-Microbial properties of textiles. Specifically, AATCC100 and ASTME2149 testing IAW AATCC135 procedures. The test will be in two (2) parts. Part I will consist of Eight (8) sample garments tested to AATCC100 after the initial laundering cycle, and then after the Third (3rd), Fifth (5th), Tenth (10th), Twentieth (20th) and Thirtieth (30th) cycle. Part II will consist of Four (4) garments tested to ASTME2149 after the initial laundering cycle, and then after the Third (3rd), Fifth (5th), Tenth (10th), Twentieth (20th) and Thirtieth (30th) cycle. Acceptance by the Government will be based on a single, Final Report. Potential Offerors will indicate interest, and provide a projection of the needed duration of testing as Days After Receipt of Samples, and production of the Final Report. Potential Offerors will provide a non-binding Budgetary estimate of the most likely cost of this service.
