Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice in conjunction with procedures in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number, VA-248-11-RQ-1091, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51 effective April 01, 2011 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation Supplement (VAAR) current to January 7, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334290, Size Standard: 750 Employees. This requirement is set aside for competition, restricted to Small Businesses in accordance with FAR 19.501 and FAR Part 13. Only qualified offerors may submit bids. Interested persons may respond to the requirement or submit a price quotation. All quotations received prior to the solicitation end time on 08/17/2011 will be considered by the Government. The VHA VISN 8, 675 “ Orlando requires the following: 1 “ WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NURSE PAGING SYSTEM CAPABLE OF INTEGRATING WITH THE RESPONDER 5 NURSE CALL SYSTEM CURRENTLY INSTALLED IN THE NURSING HOME CARE UNIT. SEE STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES FOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS. SEE DIAGRAM OF NURSING HOME CARE UNIT LAYOUT AND DIMENSIONS. ____________________ GRAND TOTAL --- ==================== Proposed delivery date: ___________________ Only electronic offers will be accepted. Offers are due to darrin.nicholson@va.gov 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time, August 17, 2011. RFQ Questions: 1. Questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted ONLY to the contracting office. 2. Questions shall be submitted electronically by email only. The email to submit questions to is darrin.nicholson@va.gov. 3. The RFQ number (VA-248-11-RQ-1091) shall be referenced in the email subject line. 4. Questions will be answered and distributed on a non-attribution basis to all parties who received the RFQ. 5. Under no circumstance shall any question from any vendor be submitted directly to a technical point of contact in the VA. 6. All questions must be submitted not later than August 10, 2011. Questions received after this period may not be answered. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of solicitation. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them.
