- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-11-Q-0036 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 424710 with 1500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation on company letterhead to include all charges for the following items to be delivered in accordance with specifications below: 0001-Off Road Diesel w/ fuel tank (Up to 75,000 gallons) Scope - The work to be done under these specifications consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with the rental of fuel tank(s) and delivery of Off Road (Red Dye) Diesel to Bird's Point Missouri Levee, located approximately 5 miles east of Wyatt, Missouri (as needed). The vendor shall supply fuel tanks (either 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 gallon tanks) with fuel and shall make additional fuel deliveries (as needed) for the duration of the contract, which is estimated to be end of October. The Government anticipates that approximately 10,000 gallons will be used each week for 6-8 consecutive weeks. Equitable adjustments to the fuel price will only be made in accordance with DFARS 252.243-7002, Requests for Equitable Adjustment. SECTION B - DELIVERIES Deliveries - Quick turnaround is necessary in order for the Government to fulfill its mission. Therefore, the items to be supplied under this purchase order shall be delivered to the job site within one (1) day of contract award. Prior to shipment, the Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the following personnel to ensure someone is present to unlock the fuel tanks. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items.
