- The attached document supersedes all prior attachments. The focus of Industry Day is to discuss topics including, but not limited to: potential construction requirements, contract acquisition strategies, contractor response to Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and other similar mechanisms, mandated use of Construction Cost and Price Handbooks, USAF Civil Engineer common practices, USF UK base requirements and material selection. The UK Civil Engineer and Contracting Squadron's are seeking information about potential sources interested and capable of providing construction services for locations within the borders of the United Kingdom. The purpose of this Notice Amendment is to change the title from SABER - Great Britain to UK-Wide Construction Services Requirements, provide a new description, and provide details for the location of Industry Day. The UK Civil Engineer and Contracting Squadrons will be hosting Industry Day on Wednesday, 3 August 2011 from 08:30 AM to 15:00 PM LOCAL TIME at Stirling House, Denny End Road, Waterbeach, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB25 9QB.
