- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract for a full range of engineering, technical, and management support services necessary to satisfy the Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test Department (IBST), Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Infrastructure Division mission requirements to support the Department of the Navy's (DON) RDT&E networks. The purpose of this acquisition is to continue existing RDT&E services until a follow-on contract can be competed and awarded. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement on a sole-source basis to The MIL Corporation. The period of performance for this effort will be a base period from 1 November 2011 to 30 June 2012 with three one-month options potentially extending performance through 30 September 2012. Primary place of performance shall be at the Government facility, NAVAIR-AD, Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD and NAVAIR-WD, China Lake, CA. All responses must be received by 12-Aug-2011. Responses may be e-mailed to catrina.vitez@navy.mil. If no written response is received within fifteen days, a contract may be issued without further notice. See Numbered Note 22 (changing forty-five days to fifteen days).
