- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. SSC PACIFIC San Diego is seeking competitive quotes for: 12 each PN: ART115000200020 ATCA, Rear Transition Module(RTM) Removable Hard Drive, Multipurpose for Sun 3220/3250/3260 Blades; 12 each PN: ASYCAGXXX03 Caddy Tray, SAS 146GB Hard Drive. Quotes shall be sent to dorothy.powell@navy.mil and they must be received on or before the solicitation closing date. Interested parties must include the solicitation number in their quotes, when asking technical questions and on any inquiries. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commerical Items will be used. Quotes will be evaluated and award will be based on the technically acceptable lowest quote. Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR.52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. The contract terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334111 and the size standard is 1000. All responding vendors must be registered to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program prior to award of contract. Information to register to CCR can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/. This annoucement is also posted at SSC Pacific E-Commerce Central website at https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil.
