- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. 44th ESB requires Harris Antenna Equipment manufactured by Harris Corporation for use with existing Harris manufactured equipment. The Rock Island Contracting Center - Reach back intends to make an award to Harris Corporation, 1680 University Ave., Rochester, NY, 16410. Interested parties may email Jennifer.m.snook2@conus.army.mil no later than 05 August 2011, 3 p.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 05 August 2011, 3 p.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
