- Description
- Sole Source Justification for Shelter Repair Parts. The United States Air Force, Holloman AFB, NM, intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part Thirteen, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Clamshell Buildings of Oxnard, CA. This purchase order will provide Part Number 510142G, Panel, Bay, 50B-BBB, A, 103'8" (1 EA) and Part Number 550004, Panel, C/S, 50B-BAA, Ground Seal (2 EA). Holloman AFB currently uses Clamshell Buildings LAMS-A and LAMS and is in need of replacement parts for the structure. Clamshell is the only company that provides these products, and they have no additional distributors. No solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a response; which, if received before the closing date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be made in writing. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
