- Description
- NASA/NSSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Agency-wide contractcloseout and procurement support services. This contract will require on-site performanceof these services at the following locations: Ames Research Center, Dryden FlightResearch Center, Glenn Research Center, Goddard Space Flight Center, Johnson SpaceCenter, NASA Management Office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Kennedy Space Center,Langley Research Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA Shared Services Center, andStennis Space Center.A sources sought synopsis and a copy of the draft SOW were posted on FedBizOpps and theNASA Business Opportunities home page on May 18, 2011 and July 20, 2011 respectively,under Reference/Solicitation Number NNX11373093L.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.This procurement is a competitive 8(a) set-aside limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561110 and $7.0 Million average annual receipts. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about August 19, 2011 with ananticipated offer due date of on or about October 4, 2011. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. Contact information for theinstallation Ombudsman can be obtained at: http://ec.msfc.nasa.gov/hq/library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASABusiness Opportunities home page ishttp://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=.Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail or fax). Telephone questions will not be accepted.
