- Davis Bacon Wage Determination NV100007 Revised 07-26-2011 SF 1442 Solicitaition Offier, and Award The Natural Resources Conservation Service storage building renovation located the corner of Mill and Murray n Ely Nevada. A site visit was conducted on July 26, 2011, 11:am at the proposed building restoration site. Listed below are the QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS from the site visit: 1. Can we engineer doors or do we have specifications to use? Minimum specifications are attached. 2. Can other walls be demolished? No. Only the one wall that was specified in RFQ package. 3. Is the whole wall to be removed? No the wall is to be taken removed to the header only. 4. Is wired glass an option for the new windows? No Plexiglas windows must be quoted. 5. Do windows need to open? No. 6. There are a total of 5 windows in lieu of the 4 windows in the RFQ package. 7. Option A & B clarification: The two (2) back doors encompass the entire back side of garage. Option A: The two (2) back doors may be enclosed and converted to one (1) large garage door (9 ft X 9 ft). This option will require prospective contractor to enclose the current opening to meet specifications of the new door size. Option B: is deleted. 8. What type of doors are required. Clopay Classic 4.4 R-value or equ 9. The warranty on the garage doors shall be at a minimum of 3 Years 10. What are the wage rates? Davis Bacon Wage rates are NV100007 dated 05-20-2011,are attached. 11. The roofing of the building was discussed at great lengths. The government would like a quote on a new roof to include bracing and reinforcement of beams underneath the roof. New roof is to be colored sheet metal prior to installation. Current sheet metal will be gently removed. Sheet metal in good conditions removed from the roof shall be utilized to repair sides of building if possible. 12. If none of the roofing is in a condition to be utilized repairing siding of building. Proposed contractor shall use standard commercial cocking to repair small holes. A revised SF 1442 Solicitation, offer, and award is attached to this solicitation amendment. OFFERER SHALL ACKNOWLEDGE this AMENDMENT TO the SOLICITATION Th performance time is estimated 45 calendar days Estimated Price Range $3,000 and $150,000 This procurement is 100% Set-Aside to Small Business SUBMIT: Bid to Maggie Liebel, Contract Specialist.
