- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center, Fort McCoy, WI is conducting market research in order to determine if Small Businesses and/or other socioeconomic (8a/HubZone/SDVOSB) set aside actions are feasible for this acquisition. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center's determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. Work to be performed under this firm, fixed-price contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a small business size standard of $14 million. Project magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform the work under this contract including but not limited to: 1. Install a 700 kW diesel fueled generator with a base mounted fuel tank at Building 50. 2. Install an automatic transfer switch. 3. Install a connection cabinet and transition cabinet. 4. Install required cables, conduit and busway. 5. Construct a concrete pad for the generator. 6. Test the Standby Power System. 7. Install a ventilation exhaust fan in the mechanical room. 8. Re-locate the existing communication cable along the wall behind the existing generator. 9. Re-locate the existing thermostat along the wall behind the generator. Responses to this announcement must be received no later than 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Responses shall include the following: 1) Reference Sources Sought Number 2) Company Name Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers; 3) DUNS Number 4) The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concern, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, large, or small. 5) A written narrative of contractors' capability to provide the requirements listed above.
