- CSC Applied Technologies LLC (CSC) is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB153B for XTLF 10-1012, Repair PMEL F128 as a Small Business (SB) set aside. Offerors should consider the impact to their bonding capacity when considering bidding on this solicitation. Funds are expected for the contemplated solicitation but are not promised or guaranteed. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or CSC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. Should funds be provided, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project. The project consists of the following: Repair of existing Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) in F128. Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment. Remove and replace a portion of existing ductwork. Remove a portion of existing ceiling tile and grid and interior finishes. Re-configure an interior wall and add doors, as well as replace existing doors. Install sprayed-on foam insulation to underside of roof deck in remodeled spaces and laboratory areas to include revising electrical plug-ins and grounding. Install new interior finishes, including paint, carpet, and vinyl flooring. All work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete project. Magnitude $500K - $1M Estimated Solicitation Issue Date: August 7, 2011 Once issued, please refer to the Solicitation Documents Folder of the solicitation download in the file "Solicitation Offer and Award" to confirm the following dates Pre-Bid, August 25, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Vance AFB, OK meeting will begin in Building 200 Conference Room 123. Bid Opening, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. to be held at Building 200 Conference Room 123. Both above dates are subject to change. Please verify prior to dates shown to assure the scheduled events will occur as stated here. Anyone planning on hand carrying a bid that does not already have Base passes should contact the Construction Contract Specialist via E-mail at rick.murrow.ctr@vance.af.mil and advise who will be carrying the bid. The individual(s) will need to plan on arriving at the Visitors Center at least 45 minutes prior to bid opening to avoid potential delay in accessing the facility. Please note: All interested persons wishing to attend the, non-mandatory but highly recommended, Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at Vance AFB must provide the following information a minimum of five (5) days prior to the Pre-Bid Meeting. Anyone planning to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting must provide the individuals name as it appears on their Driver's License, Driver's License Number, Driver's License State of Issue and last six digits of their Social Security Number. Provide all of above via E-mail to rick.murrow.ctr@vance.af.mil. The day prior to the Pre-Bid is a Federal Holiday and no one will be in the office to take information that date. It is important that information be provided no later than the Thursday of the week prior to the Pre-bid meeting date. Failure to provide this information may result in not being given access to the facility. Questions or clarifications should also be directed to either E-mail address rick.murrow.ctr@vance.af.mil. IFB153B package is expected to be available on or about the Estimated Solicitation Issue Date shown above from the FBO Vance AFB page. After solicitation issue it is your responsibility to check FBO frequently for possible addenda or other items that may affect the solicitation.
