- Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Wiley Subscription Services, Inc for a base plus three option years, in the amount of $48,204.00 to purchase Essential Evidence Plus Online Data Base Subscription located at Madigan Healthcare Systems, Tacoma, WA. The Database is web based and provides an evidence-based medicine tool that is up-to-date, global, unbiased and independently reviewed medical information to facilitate diagnosis and improve patient care and allows you to simultaneously search multiple databases. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Kendre Green, kendre.green@us.army.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
