- PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT DETAILS. The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation, P11PS42227 for painting approx. 12,600 square feet of wooden clapboarded siding at the Longfellow Main House and Carriage House, Longfellow National Historic Site, Brookline, Massachusetts. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, staging, transportation, and management necessary to complete the required work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238320 and the Size Standard is $14 million. The estimated cost range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The intended contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Construction subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. Work is to commence within 14 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Completion time is 90 calendar days. The solicitation including all bid documents will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 5, 2011. The date for the receipt of quotes will be 2:00 p.m. on August 26, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation plans or specifications. It is the responsibility of all offerors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. No response to this notice is necessary and no source list will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database willl render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. It is recommended that your firm register immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation.
