- The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSCDVAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 anticipates soliciting sources and subsequently awarding a contract for the construction project 541-364 known as 'Surgery Addition.' The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and travel, to perform work under this project. The work will include but not be limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical work, utility systems, asbestos abatement, necessary removal of existing structures, construction, and certain other items. The period of performance shall be 999 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The solicitation and accompanying plans, specifications, and drawings will be available on-line at this website o/a August 8, 2011. The location of the work will be at the above stated address. A pre-bid conference and site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 9:00 am in Room 2572. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. Individual requests to view the site will not be granted. The solicitation will be issued as an 'Invitation for Bid' conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. This Notice is for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available and limited to SMALL BUSINESS. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. NAICS code is 236220 AND THE Small Business Standard is $33.5 million.
