- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-11-Q-0075. Contractor is to provide the items listed below. This is a brand name or equal requirement. If an "or equal" product is offered, contractor is to provide sufficient technical information that shows compatibility to the requested product. To be comparable the following minimum requirements must be met: Size: 96"L x 57.5"W x 96"H Quadcon Container w/e-track, lashing rings, Connector holders, vents 2 complete shelf decks Green conventional paint All-steel construction Full marine metal preparation and painting specification Full-width access doors on both sides of container Non-slip tread plate floor Over 6 cubic meters (217 cubic feet) of internal capacity Simply and quickly secured together using SeaLock connectors Cargo doors on both ends Point of Contact: Contracting Officer, Randy Powell, Telephone 269-961-7110, email: randy.powell@dla.mil. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror who has the lowest overall price and who adheres to the Statement of Work.
