- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Repairs and maintenance to 1.475 km of FSR 12 Palo Hueco Road on the El Yunque National Forest, Rio Grande PR. Work will include erosion control, reconditioning existing surfacing, cleaning and replacing culverts, constructing drainage dips & lead-off ditches, aggregate surfacing and base course and hot asphalt concrete pavement of 375 meter segment. Contract time is 120 calendar days. PROJECT LOCATION: From the intersection of PR 3 and PR 186 in the municipality of Rio Grande travel south on PR 186 for 9.1 kilometers to the beginning of project at the intersection with FSR 12. ESTIMATE COST RANGE: between $100,000 and $250,000. OTHER INFORMATION: A pre-bid conference and site showing is scheduled tentatively for August 16, 2011. Details will be in the solicitation.
