- NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: The 802d Contracting Squadron, Lackland Air Force Base intends to award a sole source contract to Shavlik Technologies, LLC, 119 14th Street NW, Suite 200, New Brighton, MN 55112 for the acquisition of 10,000 Protect 7.X Gov't Edition Server Subscription, with Standard Support Services. The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to award to one source under authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals of approved alternate systems received within two business days after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by 2:00 p.m., CST on Wednesday, 27 July 2011, which will be considered by the agency. No solicitation or request for quote is available.
