- Programmable Logic Controllers PLC Part 3 (Statement of Work) Programmable Logic Controllers PLC Part 2 (Statement of Work) Programmable Logic Controllers PLC Part 1 (Statement of Work) RFQP05031100023-Request For Quote The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing Allen Bradley programmable logic controller (PLC) and install the necessary equipment to provide interlock features to the following doors: 1. Control Center Entrance, 2. Armory Entrance, 3. Secure Facility Entrance, 4. Building 259 Front Door, 5. Special Housing Entrance, 6. Inside/Outside Pedestrian Gates at Rear Gate, 7. Inside/Outside Vehicle Gates at Rear Gate. This project will include all labor and materials necessary to replace the integrate existing equipment with new programmable logic controllers (PLC), input and output (I/O) devices, operator interface (touch screen), software, and associated infrastructure to provide a complete integrated system. The Federal Correctional Institution in Big Spring, Texas is a low security, male correctional facility within the city limits of Big Spring, Texas. The contractor is urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
