- The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis various hardware, including FPGA based processor cards, digitizer modules, RF/IF conditioner cards, clock synchronization cards and digital to analog converter modules. The sole source is based on the hardware being suitable for use in the Annapolis Microsystems proprietary Corefire development environment. Additional specification will appear in follow on RFQs. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Annapolis Micro Systems, is the only known source that can satisfy the requirement described herein. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal. Interested parties that believe they can meet the requirements described herein must furnish information about their capabilities to the Contracting Officer, along with supporting evidence by August 5, 2011. Responses received after the closing date of this synopsis or responses received without required information will be considered non-responsive to the synopsis and not be considered. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DOD(s) Central Contractor Registration database.
