- The US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), has a requirement for supply and transport of Caprines to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This Request For Quote (RFQ) is issued as 100 % set aside for small business under NAICS 112420, size standard $750K and will result in one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract award. This RFQ is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation number for this requirement is H92239-11-T-0035 and will be issued as an RFQ. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. USASOC intends to award on a competitive basis using simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contact. Information regarding this registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them on line at http://orca.bpn.gov in response to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. Quotes are due at HQ, USASOC ATTN: AOCO, Rowena Godaire, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 not later than 4:00 p.m. on August 8, 2011. Email submissions will be accepted at godairer@soc.mil or fax at (910)432-9345. Quotes shall include (1) Form 1449 signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization (2) CLIN 0001 to include unit price and total price (3) Documentation for evaluation including past performance refererences. Quotes not containing sufficient documentation required for evaluation may be excluded from competition. Questions concerning this acquisition shall be submitted in writing to godairer@soc.mil or faxed to (910)432-9345 no later than July 29, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. All answers will be provided via an amendment to the solicitation. Any amendments that may be issued will be published on this website the same as this combined synopsis/solicitation. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking this website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided. The RFQ is attached under separate heading.
