Wage Determination Specifications Environmental Survey Report Drawings Addendum 4 Specification Addendum 4 SOW Addendum 3 SOW Addendum 2b Specification Addendum 2 Specification Addendum 2 SOW Addendum 1 SOW ***** This posting is now classified as a SOLICITATION for solicitation number FA8601-11-R-0106****** This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is set aside - Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Businesses. In order to qualify for this program, an offeror must be a certified SDVOSB, prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The NAICS code is 236220 and the Size Standard is $33.5M. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004 "Required Central Contractor Registration," Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA8601-11-R-0106 Project scope is the demolition and reconfiguration of Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) space for new office space to include new restrooms for Air Force Security Assistance Center. Location is in the south wing of Facility 209. Renovation includes demolition of old walls, ceilings, floor finishes, HVAC systems, electrical systems, sprinkler systems & fire alarm systems and replace with new reconfigured office area and new restrooms. The scope of work includes the installation of new HVAC equipment in the Clothing Sales warehouse. Clothing sales will occupy and use the warehouse during the relocation of HVAC equipment which is to be relocated in the warehouse. Phasing construction to accommodate the relocation of the HVAC equipment will require an experienced contractor's coordination skills to minimize disruption to the Clothing Sales warehouse operations. AFSAC and Clothing sales will remain operational during construction. Air Force customers will occupy clothing sales during construction. Foreign Liaison Offices (FLO) currently occupies the northern wing of the AFSAC. Great care will be required to minimize disruptions such as power outages, dust and debris from demolition activities. Failure to minimize disruptions could disrupt clothing sales and disrupt AFSAC FLO acquisitions. Disruptions to AFSAC FLO acquisitions could result in a negative impact to the Global War on Terrorism The Air Force intends to award a contract with a 250 day period of performance. The estimated magnitude of the entire contract is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NOTES: 1. The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on 22 July 2011, at http://www.fbo.gov ; the tentative date for receipt of proposals is 22 August 2011. The period of performance is 250 days. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site www.fbo.gov. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 5. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 and acknowledge and/or sign all amendments at the time and place specified in the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. Sealed envelopes containing proposals shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 6. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount (base plus options). However, contractors shall only be responsible for providing bonding for the base amount plus the amount of any and all options exercised at the time of award. If an option is exercised after award, contractors shall be responsible for securing the additional bonding equal to the amount of the option. 7. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. 8. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. This is a WPAFB Construction Contracting (PKOC) program. The current status is Solicitation and it is a Category Z - Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property program.
