- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW. SCOPE: Furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment and materials to remove and dispose of five existing garage doors and install five new sectional garage doors on Building No. 4913005 and remove and dispose of two existing garage doors and install two new section sectional garage doors on building No. 4913004. located at the Seiad Work Center Station, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. All demolished materials generated by the work shall be removed from Government land and properly disposed of by the Contractor. PROJECT LOCATION: The Seiad Work Station is located on the Oak Knoll Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest. To reach the project area from Yreka, California, take State Hwy 263 north approximately 8 miles and turn left on State Hwy 96. Follow State Hwy 96 west, approximately 42 miles to the town of Seiad and the Seiad Station. CONTRACT TIME: 30 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) requiring both price and response to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about August 5, 2011 RESPONSE TIME: Request for Quotations will be accepted at Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Yreka Office, 1312 Fairlane Road, Yreka, CA 96097 NO LATER THAN 4:30 P.M. PDT on September 6, 2011. CCR AND ORCA REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render the offer ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. Additionally, contractors must submit their representations and certifications in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration is at the following website: http://www.bpn.gov. PLANHOLDERS LIST: The interested Vendors List (IVL) on this site has replaced the Plan Holders Lists available in the past. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow directions on the site. The IVL is the only such list maintained for this procurement.
